Monthly Rentals in Saint Mark Parish

The house was nice and seemed practically new. I enjoyed the beautiful views, having a full kitchen for easy meals and a good restaurant one minute down the hill. There was instant hot water in the bathroom and the Internet worked well. There are nice walks in both directions, Scotts Head and Soufriere. The flowers on the left of the door as you're facing the ocean are a favorite for hummingbirds. Also it felt very secure and the host made sure I was well taken care of. I would stay there again!

Where do I start with how happy I was with the stay. Let me first stay, this is my second time at Griffin Villa. That is how much I love it. The first time was 2 weeks. This time is 3 months. Sabrina was an absolutely amazing host, so helpful and responsive. The space is extremely roomy. It had everything I needed. The views are AMAZING....! If it's mango season, you can pick one from the tree beside the house. The short walk to the secluded beach was a bonus. You can catch a local bus for $4.50 EC to Roseau. There are 2 excellent restaurants in the village. The icing on the cake is Mrs. Adams. She is the person you interact with in Dominica. She will make sure your every need is met. Her enthusiasm and personality is unlike any I've encounter when staying in an AirBNB. She truly cares about making your stay memorable. I hesitated to write this review because I want to make sure it's available for me. But I know that would be very selfish. :-)

the apartment is even better than in the pictures. It has everything and well located. If i am coming back to Soufriere i would stay there again. Just one thing to park the car was a bit tricky as there are few obstacles at the entrance but manageable.

This stay was beautiful, the architecture of the hut was mesmerising and had all the things we needed to cook for ourselves. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and great toilet and shower facilities. The walk from the town to the lodge is a bit far so if you have luggage try to get your transport to take you up the road or at least to the guest house down the road which most taxi are familiar. The sound of nature and the goats on local farm are loud but beautiful soundscape that comes with the nature of the land. Beautiful garden to roam around. The beach in town is not the most beautiful and shops are very limited but nice for a walk. We hiked to champagne beach which was beautiful for snorkelling but the hike is a challenge not for faint heated, but bus cost around $10-$15 for 2 people to and from Roseau which has good supermarkets and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and bought us fresh bananas from the garden every morning which was so lovely !! Jo and Matteo
