Le Petit Ruisseau, lovely comfortable holiday home

Situated in a small hamlet just outside the historic town of Domfront in the Normandy countryside this lovely holiday home consists of a large kitchen diner with fireplace and a lounge with a fireplace with wood burner on the ground floor. On the first floor are two light and airy en-suite double bedrooms, one has bunk beds. All rooms have views of the large garden that surrounds the property with several seating areas and a graveled terrace for outside dining. Plunge pool available in summer.

Come and unwind in this unique cabin located in the heart of the Normandy countryside. The 55m2 cabin comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 living room/kitchen, and a bathroom. Constructed from durable and recycled materials, this refuge has been designed to accommodate you for a peaceful stay in a green setting. However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.

Close to the small, but vibrant market town of Lassay Les Chateaux, a visit to the 14th C chateau, and local boulangeries is essential. With the Musee de Cidre on your doorstep, there is plenty to see and do.

The Christabelle

La Christabelle is a unique tranquil getaway gîte loaded with charm and character. It is an example of a traditional Normandie timber frame cottage that invites you to relax. Here you will be happy to watch the sunrise and then wait for the beautiful sunset and feel completely at ease. You have upstairs a bedroom with kitchenette and bathroom upstairs, overlooking a large terrace with panoramic views of the orchard and Sur Domfront en Poiraie (located 5 km away). On the ground floor, accessible from the outside, a complete kitchen with fireplace and at your disposal. Garden of 5000s. Close to the Velofrancette and Veloscénie greenways. Breakfast and evening meals optional.

The property benefits from wifi. Our gite is well located for enjoying lower Normandy as well as seeing Brittany, Mont-St-Michel and the Suisse Normande.

Mini gîte "Le petit fournil" in Normandy

Our old bakery is part of our farmhouse. On the ground floor, there is a fitted kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Upstairs, an attic bedroom has 3 independent beds. Outside, our guests have access to a private terrace with garden furniture. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast (farmhouse bread, jam) is available on request for 5 euros per person. Close to the greenway, walkers will appreciate this stopover.

For hikers, runners and cyclists, please note that the accommodation is adjacent to the greenway leading to Mont Saint-Michel! You will find yourself on the Véloscénie Paris-> Mont Saint-Michel and on the Vélo Francette Ouistreham-> La Rochelle.
