we needed step free accommodation post operation, wet room and accessibility features were important to us and all the facilities to stay cosy and cook meals. it exceeded our expectations! Penny was so warm and welcoming, very informative in pre instructions as well as a thorough welcome pack and local information at the lodge. ample heaters for a chilly night, all the kitchen ware you could possibly need and easy to use equipment, cosy bed, clean and well presented, would love to live somewhere like it if I'm honest !! it was an added bonus to have horses so close and so beautiful. the sun would set in the evening across the field from them warming the living room beautifully. Penny even added some elephant feet to the main armchair for additional height which was very much appreciated, can't fault the experience , we will certainly be returning for a short quiet get away and explore the local area when not in a wheelchair ! thank you so much Penny for making the recovery manageable!

Eggcellent stay. Three generations of family and others enjoyed an Easter stay at the cottage. The mature and pretty garden was perfect for our sunny Easter egg hunt. The fire pit kept us all chatting and laughing in the evenings. We walked to the Red Lion pub and enjoyed home cooked food. At the Yew Tree pub the young adults enjoyed a cider and board games. Three of us participated in the local Ross on Wye Park run and one of us ran the Wye river trail as prep for the London marathon. We enjoyed many family meals around the large table and found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen. Having two lounges and use of the annex provided lots of opportunities to be social or chill quietly. Bedrooms were spacious with comfortable mattresses but a few squeaky bed frames. Some of us struggled with the doorknobs being a bit too close to the door frames. The cottage setting was quiet, rural while local amenities only a short drive away.

Our second stay at Treetops was yet again perfect for our needs. Friendly, proactive and generous hosts. Spacious, extremely clean and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Friendly locals in the village pub. Thank you Catherine & Phil - everything greatly appreciated.

Wonderful rural location, we loved it. Birdsong, apple blossom, runner ducks, flop-and-roll friendly cats and lovely Eric the spaniel. Delicious duck eggs for breakfast, too. Very easy for us to get to all the sights; we enjoyed trips to Goodrich, Chepstow, Raglan and Monmouth castles, Tintern Abbey, and of course, gorgeous riverside walks along the Wye and through the woods, inhaling the wild garlic and bluebells.. Beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was great, with plenty of hot water. Leigh has gone to a lot of trouble creating this comfortable, light and airy space, with maps, walking guides, leaflets, games, novels and treats. We'll definitely stay there again.
