“A friend and I spent two days at the magnificent presbytery of Saint-Vallier turned into a resort for the lucky ones who will enjoy it. At Peter and Pamela's, there is plenty of space, some rooms and you breathe calm and beauty. You feel completely at home in this place arranged with taste and elegance by Pamela who loves to take care of her guests discreetly. The free breakfast is excellent and generous. And in the evening if you wish you can eat in the large dining room that offers a view of the sunset. You will enjoy yourself, Peter is a great cook. On request, you also have access to a gourmet meal concocted by the formidable Mirjana, a true blue cordon in the pure French tradition. She is simply exquisite. The experience has been unique and rewarding in every way: exchanges, rest, discoveries ... I enthusiastically recommend you to sit at the presbytery of Saint-Vallier to visit the whole region. I am a fan of the river and I brought a friend from New York who was very impressed by the place and its surroundings. This is what he wants to tell you: You get to see Quebec and the surroundings. A good way to experience the St. Lawrence south shore with a walking distance to the water or in the sun. This place is also about Pamela and Peter, who are very much dedicated to maintaining and curating the historic appeal of the building. The hosts are very sociable people who always have good suggestions for outdoor activities. Of course your hosts speak both french and english. Thank you for this wonderful stay!”
Lockdown's over, need some air? Dreaming of an unforgettable and safe getaway? A stay by the river would be unparalleled… The House of the river to the great waters , a two-storey house, is very welcoming, perfectly clean, very well equipped and close to all services.. It is ideally located ten minutes from the Île d'Orléans bridge in the village of St-Laurent, directly on the shore of the great St. Lawrence River and has a picturesque view of the seaway and wharf.
“Céline and Andreï were amazing hosts from the second we booked. Communication was great, and they had plenty of local information to keep us busy. The location was fantastic: 15 minutes from dog sledding on the island, 20 minutes to Old Quebec, and 30 minutes from prime skiing. Gas and groceries were also easily accesible. The house is spotless and absolutely beautiful, with all the amenities you could ever want. Our favorite part was waking up in the morning to that sparkling river view! Special touches included homemade muffins from Céline and snow shoes provided for exploring the backyard. Would definitely visit again - a perfect trip in all seasons.”

“The cottage of Nathalie is very beautiful and warm, it feels good. Nathalie and friends were having a party so as not to be disturbed we were upgraded to the 2nd floor suite, a treat for our last night in Canada. Beautiful decoration. The cottage is well placed in the village center, 1 min from the marina. The breakfast was good. Nathalie is warm and good advice. We recommend.”
