Family home on the Millevaches plateau

Our family home, a typical 1896 Corrèze farmhouse, is located in the heart of the Milles Sources plateau. Refurbished, for our holidays we want to discover this little corner of France that is still wild. The hamlet of Neuvialle, both very quiet and vibrant because of its inhabitants, is the starting point for a multitude of hikes directly on foot from the house, through the coniferous forests, the heather moors, and the pastures where lambs graze.

Station lamp post

You will sleep in the former lamp storehouse of the Pérols-sur-Vézère train station. You will have a view of our garden, the sheep certainly, the chickens as well as the rails. These small regional trains stop 10 times a day and do not run at night. This small habitat has been completely renovated with salvaged materials. The stone walls are original and therefore restored with cement and lime mortar.

L'orée des prés

At the end of a Creuse village is a small gîte called "L'Orée des Prés", completely renovated, not overlooked, south of the Creuse, near the lakes of Vassivière and Lavaud - Gelade. You can spend a quiet family vacation near hiking trails, a pond and water activities. You can also enjoy beauty and wellness treatments on site "Voyage aux mille sources" provided by Alexia, your hostess.
