Holiday rentals in San Benedetto Val di Sambro

Our family of six had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stefano and Alex’s place! The location was great being so close to many shops and restaurants, but what really set this place apart was the hospitality from the host and owner. From the moment we arrived until we departed, Stefano was very helpful and responsive. The first day we arrived, he helped with dinner restaurants at an AMAZING place nearby. Then, when my in-laws had a late flight on the day of checkout, Stefano did everything he could to make their additional hours comfortable. Like I said, from beginning to end, he was great! The unit itself was very comfortable for the six of us, including my wife and I, our 7 year old daughter, and three parents in their 70’s. The spiral stairs down proved to be a little tricky, but that was easy to overcome. All of the other amenities and little touches were very thoughtful, and we greatly appreciated the welcome treats and drinks. Highly recommend this lovely place!

We loved our stay in David’s apartment. Great spot in the middle of everything and a great place to bring a family. Having continuous hot water along a washer and dryer a plus. David was a wonderful host. Would recommend!!

We had a fantastic time at this apartment, it is as grand as it looks in the photos!! Very comfortable beds, lovely lounge area. Great location to dry out after getting soaked in the rain! Excellent location, two minutes from lots of very good cafes and restaurants and a daily market in the square. Easy walk to the main centre and 5 minutes from the Pitti Palace! Elly communicated throughout and made sure we checked in safely as our flight was delayed. We would definitely stay again!

This little hamlet was ideal for a group of several families wanting a Tuscan holiday. Christina was a very responsive host, always available for help and suggestions. One down side was the distance from many of the Tuscan attractions such as Florence and Sienna. The hamlet is reasonably remote so is ideal for those who want a secluded holiday rather than those who want to see the sights of Tuscany.

Mrs. Flory was very kind and helpful, the house was very nice, clean, tidy and above all very welcoming, we really had a great time... we will definitely be back, vote 100 and praise

The space is very comfortable, high quality bed and bath linens. Heaters working well Excellent location. Thoughtful hostess. A little noise in the evening because it is on top of a bar.

This holiday home has exceeded our expectations! The location is truly beautiful, with a breathtaking view. What also stood out to us was the cleanliness of the house. Everything was sparkling clean on arrival, from the kitchen to the bedroom and bathroom. It immediately made us feel comfortable, which made us feel right at home. And honestly: the view and atmosphere are even more beautiful than on the pictures! We were really positively surprised when we arrived. In short, if you are looking for a clean and well-maintained holiday home with a beautiful view, this is highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing few days staying with Lucy and her family, and their dog Amber. They were really friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any queries we had. The pool area was lovely, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The village is small with a butchers and bakers, a couple of restaurants and a bar. We did a lovely circular walk from the property through the woods to the nearby hill top village, Castel Vecchio. There’s nothing in the village but it’s very pretty and the views are great. You need a car to get to the supermarket and Lucca is a very easy 20 minute drive away. We had a super time and thank you Lucy for your generous hospitality.
