My stay here was great!

I would definitely stay here again. The price is too good not to. Walking distance to everything in Barrio Escalante and still in a pretty quiet area. It is difficult to see in photos but there is a single burner cook top and a microwave so cooking and reheating leftovers is possible, with enough utensils/cookware to get by for basic meals. Some furniture is slightly different than the photos, there was only one couch, there was a desk in the bedroom, and there was no lamp on the bedside table. One thing to note is there there are no screens on the windows, which I know is not uncommon for the area but something to be aware of (I killed 2 mosquitos inside within 20 minutes of being there). I kept all the windows closed for my entire stay and the apartment stayed cool enough to sleep with the one fan blowing directly on me. Yorleny (and her mom) was very responsive to messages and allowed me to check in early so I didn't have to haul my luggage all over San Jose.

Myrna's home was the nicest place we stayed. It was a quick bus or Uber into San Jose, as well as Tibas. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed.

Super fast communication. Always available for anything related to Airbnb. Super special and unique host. Close to Market, great neighborhood
