Amazing place in a beautiful location. Perfect spot for a scenic drive to Yosemite. Could not have asked for more accommodating hosts!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. An added bonus not mentioned in the description is the fabulous shower. For a small house, the size, cleanliness, and unlimited hot water of the shower is terrific!

This house was so clean & cute!! Gave us the perfect space for our out of town family to stay and roomy enough for local family members to visit. This place worked out PERFECTLY!! We enjoyed every space in this home. The backyard was perfect for morning coffee on the deck. Our Texas family played the lottery in hopes they could buy the place and not have to check out lol.

Mariam's place is amazing and super comfortable for two people. We found everything sparkling clean. The neighborhood is perfect, private, beautiful and safe. We strongly recommend this place!

Every detail of this home was incredibly well thought out. There’s truly nothing you’ll need, it’s fully stocked with everything from games for the kids to all the cooking utensils you could want, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The patio and entry garden are absolutely stunning. The decor is perfect; every little detail was considered, and it really shows. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish- what a treat. I’m going to go home and redecorate with a Hawaii theme 😏

Clean and spacious place. Quirky but perfect for us. But if a drive to anyplace except the slough and beach.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and provided thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect—close to all sorts of great nature, peaceful and quiet for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub and game room was a game-changer, and every detail was clearly designed for comfort and convenience. We really enjoyed our stay here—the house is just as beautiful as the photos and in a great location, super close to the beach. It had everything we needed and felt really cozy. They even provided a baby gate, which was a thoughtful touch. A few things to note for future guests: the interior doors only lock from the outside, so our kiddo could still open them even when “locked.” The curtains weren’t blackout at all, so it stayed pretty bright inside. The gate to the backyard would blow open on windy days, but there were bricks available to help keep it closed. There was also construction two doors down that started around 7:40 a.m. every day, and we did notice some hair on the bathroom ceiling, which was a bit strange. But overall, we had a great time and definitely plan to come back! The home is lovely, in a fantastic spot, and made for a great getaway.

This was my third stay- whenever I want to go off the grid but have all of the comforts of home, this is the first place I think of (I’d probably have more stays here but I am pretty much a spontaneous booker, so Vicki’s place isn’t always available when I want a local getaway). If you’re not local, it’s also a great home base for everything Santa Cruz County has to offer. Vicki is an excellent host and I highly recommend!
