“Island Otter Cottage is an amazing get-a-way on Haida Gwaii. It’s spacious and feels like you’re in a cabin in the woods. Dawn-Ann was a perfect host. She greeted us when we arrived and answered any questions we had including where to hike on the island. I highly recommend this cottage.”

“This was our second stay at Lynn's place and it is just magic. The house is set within the most peaceful and beautiful gardens, moments from the beach. It is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and Lynn has thought of everything you could need for your stay. Lynn and Jim are a wonderful couple and they could not have done more to make our trip special - even providing all the necessary tools for all our days out. For example, we were heading to lake to swim and fish, so they told us where to go for the best fly fishing spots, lent us a frying pan and foil for a campfire and gave us beach towels for down by the lake. Lynn and Jim also co-host with their beautiful golden retriever Decker, who absolutely made our visit and was the best doggy friend to cuddle and play with. Thank you for everything Lynn and Jim. You truly made us at home. We will be back.”
Bohemian style with lots of colour and extra touches.
“Lynn’s trailer is a cozy and warm place to be! She has all the amenities and has done a nice job making it an inviting getaway. It is very private and so tranquil there. If the stars are out it’s beautiful! Her place is very close to Balance Rock which makes stopping for sunrise and sunset photos very convenient. She recommended a restaurant in Queen Charlotte and it was an incredible meal, delicious flavours throughout all courses, local artwork and close to other cute little shops, cafes and such. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Lynn’s haven!”
