A minute or two down the road, Matakana's famous vineyards, farmer's market, sculpture trails and beautiful beaches await.

Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.

Imagine waking up beside a beachfront grass reserve with short walk <50 metres to the sea shore with views to Kawau Bay and beyond. Snells Beach is a flat beach with changing views as the tide ebbs and flows. This modern ground floor apartment is double glazed and offers comfortable accommodation. Nearby are a multitude of attractions eg cafes, restaurants, sculpture parks, wineries of the Matakana Coast and beautiful coastal areas to explore. Sorry preschoolers/infants not accepted.

Braemar Cottage - new, peaceful, stunning views!

Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

Just a short drive away is the charming village of Matakana & beautiful Omaha Beach.

Come and enjoy the cosy cabins less than an hour North of Auckland tucked away at the base of the Dome Valley reserve which is 5 minutes drive from Warkworth and 15 minutes to Matakana.
