Fantastic location close to the city. Lovely and clean. Fantastic house for a family with children of all ages. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Perfect for our 10 night stay as it had a fully functioning kitchen plus a washing machine, so suited our needs perfectly. Not far from the airport and about a 20 minute drive into Hobart city. The view was stunning looking out over the fields and waterways which was lovely to sit on the verandah looking out. There was a BBQ which we used plus we had access to Netflix & Prime, which was great. It was pretty private as you are set back up the hill away from the main house. Would definitely stay again.

At a time when we were in between houses Leah's place was perfect for us and two dogs. In addition, there was flexibility around arrival time and unplanned extension of our stay which was greatly appreciated

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Everything was perfectly clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to find coffee and tea provided for us. The beds were very comfortable with fresh, clean linens. The view of the mountains and the sea was absolutely breathtaking, and the location made it very easy to get to. Every detail was carefully thought out, making our stay truly relaxing and memorable. We would love to come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

This gorgeous cottage was the perfect accommodation for me and my friend during our short stay in Hobart. Everything was just right. From the very comfy beds and the spacious bathroom with nice powerful shower and extra toilet, to the well equipped kitchen with coffee machine and the very effective gas heater which warmed up the place in no time. The outdoor patio would be a delightful place to have your morning cuppa during warmer days. Location is central and quiet. We mainly drove to and from the place for our day trips and never had an issue with parking. Our host Antonia is a friendly and prompt communicator and the instructions provided were clear and precise. I would happily return to Star Cottage on my next visit to Tasmania.

Loved my stay. A very grand house. Loved thinking of her history. Very comfortable, well furnished in keeping with house, but no clutter. Fully fenced back garden for the dogs. The fires were great Really liked South Hobart too and easy access to Knocklofty Reserve (perfect for off leash walks) & also great location for trip up Mt Wellington Thank you for sharing 🙂

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! We booked this accommodation as a family, as my brother was getting married in Peppermint Bay. Lindsey was very proactive and an excellent communicator - the house was easy to find, access and enjoy. All the amenities required were provided, the view and garden were lovely. I’d thoroughly recommend a stay here, and hope to arrange another booking when we are in Tasmania again.

We stayed at Neil & Vonnie's place away from the main roads and up on the hill, but an easy drive from Hobart City. It was cosy but had everything we needed with nice little touches that included pantry and kitchen basics as well as bathroom toiletries. The fit out was fairly new and modern with all kitchen and bathroom and laundry amenities in good working order. Vonnie welcomed us on arrival and gave a comprehensive explanation of the ins and outs of the property. There was a nice big back yard with native wildlife visitors every now and then. Highly recommended, would stay there again.

The host and her lovely family are very friendly and easy . Sandy bay main park / ocean views are only 5 min walk - posh and nice area

We stayed for over a week and had a great time. The apartment was clean, light, and well equipped. Good AC/hearing unit. Comfy bed and soft bedding. Would definitely stay again.

Cascade Cottage is quiet, peaceful and had all amenities for our family. We felt right at home and were very comfortable for our week. The house has plenty of heating and beds are comfy. The area is very quiet and even though the cascade female factory is across the road the main access is on the other side of the factory so it’s not busy house side. Pademelons live in the street and come out at night time to kids delight. The Cascade hotel pub up on the main road has amazing meals and The Cascade Brewery cafe has great food also. The house is only a 7-12 min drive from centre of Hobart CBD. You can park at Arglye St car park in the CBD for $4per hour and you can walk anywhere in the city. Tip: visit port Arthur first then ask for a Ticket of Leave at their ticket counter as you exit and its costs you $20 extra on top of your Port Arthur entry but gives you unlimited entry to Cascade Female Factory and back into Port Arthur of 2 years. Saves around $15 per person on CFF entry.

A great place to stay. Very relaxing and right on the river. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay in the gorgeous Dennes Point. I'd stayed here before with a friend so I knew what to expect. Great touches of character, the board games were a hit and so lovely to be able to light a fire. Lovely walking distance to the calm waters of Nebraska beach, if you're there on a weekend make sure you book in for the best wood fired pizzas at the local cafe.
