Had an amazing time at the Oasis! I came with a few girlfriends for the weekend, and it was the perfect relaxing escape. The Airbnb had so much to offer, and being right on the lake made it even more special. Tanya and Chris were incredibly responsive and created the perfect little getaway.

This spot is in a beautiful, peaceful location. We wanted just to relax and be by the ocean. We were able to do both and the trip to town was just minutes by car. The home was very clean and well stocked with dishes, etc. When we had an issue with the internet the host responded immediately. The back deck was such a gem( I wish the weather had cooperated more) and the hot tub lets you look out over the water as you soak. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend a visit here. I certainly hope to return myself in the near future.

Tracey’s apartment never fails to impress at all levels. On sunny days, the place becomes alive with sun rays filtering through. At night you can experience the most amazing sunsets. Thank you Tracey for going out of your way to accommodate me. I hope I can travel again in the spring and stay over for another week or so.

Bruce says: We had a wonderful stay at Cameron's. The weather was great and the lodging was impeccable. We interacted with the host on numerous occasions. The site is very rural but that is what we appreciate. Carol-Ann says: I told Bruce his review was far too stiff and impersonal to accurately reflect our time at Cameron's. After all, this is our second VayKay get-away with them and we are pre-booking for a third one in a few months! His response to me: Absolutely! We don't want there to be such a rush on bookings that there's no place left for us! OK! I see his point ... so let me happily be an echo: We had a wonderful stay at Cameron's. Another great stay at one of our favourite spots that feels like home away from home. We love watching the sunrise over the salt marsh in the morning and watching the sunset over the beach in the evening. We had a mini snow storm on our first night but the shanty is super cozy and we felt very snug. We keep coming back to this place because it is truly paradise!

We really lucked out when we found Pam’s airbnb on this spontaneous trip to Mahone Bay! It’s nestled in on a quiet street right in the heart of the town, the interior is absolutely beautiful and so cozy, and is fully equipped with everything you could need for your visit to the south shore. We hope to be back again!

Had such an incredible time at Danny & Lynn's! The place was spotless, beds were super comfy, gorgeous views of the lake and such cute little touches like the little lights along the trees in the backyard! Also was so sweet to have some wine waiting for us when we arrived. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again some time!

We stayed in Cabin #2 which was very private at the far end of the cottages. The view is incredible, the hot tub perfect for two and the cabin was spacious and very clean. We loved the rock stairs down to the ocean and loved the dark, star filled sky at night! Dan was very fast with all communication, thank you for the extra coffee! Great, relaxing time at Board & Batten cottage.

Amazing view of Cape Split and Bay of Fundy. Outside decks were ample and close enough to town for some Thai food. Home was simple, quaint and cozy. Great spot and Sheila was more than accommodating to getting me into the house on short notice. THANK YOU Sheila!

Relaxing Rural Lakeside Home

Our group of six enjoyed the cottage and bunkie. There is a lot of room to spread out and pursue different activities. The deck on the lake is a highlight. There are plenty of board games and comfy seating inside if the weather isn't cooperating. It was warm and cozy when the temperature dropped in early November. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area - Annapolis Royal, Kejimkujik Park, and Digby. The property is in a remote lakeside location in a small cottage community.
