Beachfront holiday rentals in Sanilac County

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin for my mom’s birthday weekend! The location was perfect - The beach access was definitely a highlight for us, and my dog loved playing in the water. Super close to a small market for groceries and some great restaurants! (We enjoyed the windjammer!) We would definitely love to return for another beach bonfire weekend!

We loved Karl's place - this cabin is one of several with a little clearing and easy access to a deck overlooking the water as well as several flights down to another platform right above the waves. It's a lovely spot and perfect for hanging out and relaxing by the lake. Lexington and Port Sanilac are only a 5-10 minute drive for groceries and restaurants, and there is a beautiful public beach just to the south. Karl was very attentive, even reaching out in person to make sure the accommodations were suitable. We would love to return!

Location, location, location The home is much larger than expected and the back deck/patio was just a lovely setting to have morning coffee or tea. New doors and new windows. Just a few stairs and you are on your own beach. We entertained family, not sure if I will do that again lol. It’s a wonderful vacation spot. There are very nice trails in front of the house maintained by Courtney’s Dad who lives next door. It was relaxing to get a dose of nature between beach time. He met us when we pulled up to give the lay of the land and answer any questions and couldn’t be any nicer. I can’t recommend enough. Perfect

Very much enjoyed our stay! It was easy to find, great views with easy access to the shore via steps, and was located in a quiet neighborhood.

Very spacious and clean property. All appliances including coffee were available . Great views and very peaceful. Highly recommend this property, will definitely look to rent again!

Nice place for a long weekend . was able to walk the beach and check out Lexington and Port Huron, both beautiful beach towns. Hosts were pleasant and helpful even thought their house is beside the cabin they left us to enjoy our weekend ,but checked in on us by text messages.. Firewood was provided and back yard area was beautiful !

Shay was an excellent host and I would definitely return for another visit. The place is really as it is right on the lake shore with a private beach. The house is excellent with all the required amenities for a quiet and peaceful weekend. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a lake front holiday.

STUNNING! This home is unbelievably gorgeous, and the location is perfect. Close to town, but lovely and quiet, right on the water. Excellent beach for lounging and swimming, perfect deck and patio chairs for star gazing. This is the definition of peace and tranquility. Interior of the house is pristine and has everything you might need, an excellent place to relax.

The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

The Little House on the Lake is a beautiful place to recharge and enjoy nature. We really appreciated the comfortable bed and cozy spots to relax and stare out at the water. Lexington and Port Sanilac provided plenty to do, and the sunrise on Easter Sunday was amazing to see. We will be back!

We loved the view and how clean everything was. The cottage had everything we needed. The clear plastic walls on the porch facing the lake was perfect when the wind picked up. The town of Lexington was near by for anything we might have forgotten. The golf course in Port Sanilac was close by and gorgeous. We will stay here again.

This home, location, and town are all so beautiful and quaint. The beach is wonderful, the house had everything we needed, and the Alli Bar is such a fun place to grab a drink. Chuck and Dawn are super responsive and kind. We'll definitely try to book this home again!

Very clean and comfortable- Kelly was a very friendly & attentive host. First rate paddle boards, kayak, canoe and beach toys were above expectations & I really enjoyed the large modern barbecue grill.

Great place to stay! LOVED the sunrise on Lake Huron! The lake looked like the ocean with all of its beautiful colors. Sandy beach was a blast for the kids. Great rock collecting and sea glass too. The house was so modern, clean and fit our two families of four just fine. Downtown Lexington is super cute and we had fun browsing the shops and eating ice cream at Scoops Ahoy :) Greatest swimming of my husband's life he said. We had a wonderful time.

We were so thankful for a beautiful family vacation on Lake Huron. This house is wonderful for all ages and the hosts were very supportive and proactive to ensure all our needs were met. The property was so quiet and peaceful, the perfect getaway!

The photos do not so this place justice! This cottage on Lake Huron has breathtaking views and plenty fo space for everyone. Sam was extremely hospitable and made us feel absolutely at home here. We loved it so much we extended our stay. We will 100% be back!
