“Jodi and Neils place was amazing, everything I expected and more. My partner and I were scrambling for our June week long vacation after our flights were cancelled. The tiny eco house had everything, the perfect getaway pushed back far enough in the woods it felt private and secluded but 5 minutes each way to 2 great Adirondack towns. The fire pit was probably our favorite part, we ended each wonderful hiking filled day by roasting hot dogs and making smores by the fire. Thanks again Jodi and Neil for everything.”

“My husband and I just spent two weeks at the ADK Riverside Cabin quarantining after our flight from Denver, so that we could finally meet our 10 week old granddaughter in person. I cannot imagine a more charming, even magical place to billet. We felt like teenagers sleeping out on the screened in porch. Once you get the hang of transforming the loveseat into a double bed, it will be totally worth your while to go through that process every night so that you can fall asleep 10 feet from the river, listening to the wind soughing through the pines and hearing the owls call to one another. The cabin is beautiful. There are many loving details that coordinate so well with the Adirondacks theme. It took us a couple of days to get used to showering in the clawfoot tub but then it was a snap. My husband showered every day while I enjoyed the luxury of taking baths. Sandy and Lou are very responsive to any question or concern you have. Take advantage of the sauna, the swimming hole and the kayaking. You won't regret it. Finally, you know how everyone says that your memories of good times come back to you in your last days on this earth? Well, staying in the Riverside Cabin will be one of those memories for me.”

Experience the sound of loons in the wilderness, or drive a short distance to town and The Wild Center. Amenities include a romantic, outdoor shower for two. Minimum stay is one week (Saturday to Saturday) except during low season months, check calendar for your dates.
“What a wonderful and modest location. It's a very clean, organized and tastefully rustic cabin with a perfect view sitting over the lake. Although our goal is to stay in as many locations throughout the ADKs, it will be hard to pass this place up. It has everything you need. The outdoor shower is a great touch. Neighbors are friendly. View of the lake and access is awesome. We strung hammocks on the trees over the river., made a fire.... relaxed, did a puzzle, bbq'ed, made hot toddies. Visited the market in town for brunch, and the local brewery - Raquette River Brewing was AWESOME. How we fit everything we did in, in 2 days is beyond me. We will hopefully be back!”
