Eclectic Monte Laginha @ Alentejo (Surf & Beach)

Our home is an agricultural cottage renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

Designed by acclaimed architect Pedro Reis, the house is a striking example of contemporary architecture. The heart of the house is the spacious open-plan living and dining area, featuring two lounge spaces and a marble-topped kitchen that runs the full length of the room. The house comfortably accommodates up to four guests, with two bedrooms – one with a double bed and the other with two bunk beds – and two bathrooms. It’s fully equipped for both short and extended stays.

Casa das Andorinhas Coral belongs to Quinta Nossa Senhora da Conceição, located in Santiago do Cacém, on the Alentejo coast. Our motto is to live without haste. Here we are calm and natural. The House has five double bedrooms (four have a double bed and one has two single beds), two bathrooms, a living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Possible placement of crib(s) for children up to 2 years of age. It is also possible to enjoy our large outdoor space.

Cabin

One-bedroom apartment with private garden space and heated pool, just minutes from Samouqueira Beach and the village of Porto Covo. In the Cabana, a bathtub was placed in the bedroom, next to the large window, in order to allow the observation of the extensive fields, where cows and sheep graze, and the sea on the horizon. The blue and yellow tones are reflected in the sea, dunes and meadows, the spectacle is sublime, especially at sunset. Come and live slowly!
