Beatriz's little house

Hello! We are Sonia, Elio and our daughter Beatriz. Our goal is to make your vacation unforgettable!! Welcome to our home!! The "Casinha da Beatriz" is located in Santana, land of typical houses, ex-libris and tourist poster of the island of Madeira. They were houses composed of an attic, where agricultural products were kept, and a ground floor with the living area. We rebuilt one of these typical "little houses," dating back to 1950, with all the comforts of today. It overlooks the sea/mountains.

Welcome to São Gonçalo, a peaceful and sunny part of Funchal overlooking the beautiful bay and the city. This newly renovated house offers comfort, privacy and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the unique charm of Madeira. Unwind on the sunny terrace with outdoor dining or spend warm evenings on the terrace behind the house with a BBQ. The fully equipped house provides everything you need for an easy and carefree stay. Free street parking is available about 20 steps from the house.

Place In The Sun

A beautiful and spacious house to enjoy your holiday in Madeira. From the private pool & BBQ terrace there are breathtaking ocean views over the bay of Funchal. The Botanical Gardens are 10 mins walk away and there is a bus stop 30 seconds away, taking 5mins to the centre. 3 mins walk away there is a restaurant, Sesamo bakery & mini supermarkets. The Aerobus stop is also a few minutes walk away. Not suitable for children under 12 years and no pets. Construction work is happening in the area.

This comfortable, light contemporary home opens through a wall of glass to a private south facing terrace with loungers and comfortable dining area under a tiled canopy. Cruise ships waft past the terrace, by night lit like Manhatten. Tiny squid fishing boats bob just offshore with their hanging lights. You can watch the boats come and go in the harbour which looks fabulous by night.

House with superb sun exposure, peaceful and stunning views over the sea and the mountain. Has 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds easily convertible into a double bed), a complete bathroom. On the ground floor open space with kitchen / living and dining room and toilet. Furniture and careful decoration. Outside enjoy the garden and the pleasant dining space with incredible views of the sea. The barbecue, mini-pool and shower complete your well-being.

Secluded but 15 mins' drive from Funchal - a perfect base from which to explore the island. Together with the other houses on this unique estate it can cater for a group of friends or family.
