“We had a very pleasant short stay. The cottage was perfect for two people and a dog for two nights. Basic food but adequate for a short visit but the wood stove was so special. Magnificent view of the valley from the bedroom. We have revisited the important Montormel memorial. Also Haras du Pins. Thank you Isabelle for your hospitality, the cider, the apple juice and your excellent communication.”

“We had an amazing stay. Besides Dean his parents we didn't see anyone around for 4 days. You can experience real silence here. We hiked, had bbqs outside and had the hills completely to ourselves. The hosts made us feel super welcome and told us some great stories too! If you are looking to wake up to birdsong, this is the place. Also we really like to cook and they kitchen is very well equiped! We would go back immediately!”
This comfortable 2 person recently renovated barn house with private garden and more than an acre of shared garden is located at the border of the quiet medieval village Le Sap. You get a stylish studio-like holiday home with downstairs a living, dining and kitchen area and a separate modern bathroom. The bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine.
“What gem of a place. I think the photo of the property does not do it justice. I must echo other reviews in that it was a shame we only stopped for one night en route to the Eurotunnel. We arrived hot and tired after a long ride up from Biarittz. The property is tucked away in a quiet corner of a larger garden/orchard. Eveline met us and showed us to the property. It is very nicely furnished with a big bathroom. The village Le Sap is just gorgeous and I spent some time taking photographs of the beautiful French Houses. We visited the local shop, Patisserie and Pizza takeaway for supplies for the evening. Then settled down for a relaxing evening. Just a note the two restaurants in the Village are closed on Monday, but there is the Vegetarian within a short distance. We chose to eat in after a long day. We would love to revisit this property and explore the area properly. Many thanks Eveline.”
