Veteran's Cabin Shimla - Stargazing, By Baan Homes

A quiet homestay in the middle of a jungle full of oak trees, made by my father who has served in army, that's why the name veteran's cabin. The cabin follow Scandinavian design in architecture with A shape and is made with rocks from outside and pine wood from inside which makes it very warm during winter months. To survive the harsh winters of Shimla, we've now replaced wood stove with an electric heater and electric blanket in the cabin so you don't feel cold even if it's snowing outside.

The wooden A frame chalet is located on top of a peaceful mountain in the apple belt near Shimla, around 50 minutes drive from the city. The property has 2 floors with separate entrances, and both rooms are spacious enough for up to 3 guests each. The property offers beautiful valley views and is surrounded by lush green forest, making it a perfect place for a calm and relaxing stay close to nature The last 1 kilometer of the road is a kacha road, but it is accessible by car and easy to reach.
