Welcome to the Airy Aerie: an avian themed townhome in the heart of the Galena Territory. Our space has been carefully curated to reflect the diversity of birds you will find in the natural surroundings of the area. There are two ensuite bedrooms and a full kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is a loft space upstairs where a rollout twin bed can be set up. Our home can accommodate a maximum of 6 overnight guests (assuming 1 person on the twin rollout bed).

Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin and outdoor shower is close by (no bathroom inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Ulysses Suites, Suite 203

Ulysses Suites has just been completed inside the historic J. G. Schmohl building in the heart of downtown Galena, located at 213 to 217 S. Main Street. The location is walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. We have 7 suites and a beautiful lobby that are modern and luxurious, with lots of historical character and texture as a nod to its previous existence as the Grant Hotel from 1895 to 1933. Suite 203 is almost 1400 square feet and is located on the 2nd floor.

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Iowa 5 min away and casino in Iowa 20-25 min. Palisades State Park 5 min away. This is a cozy cottage with use of deck and grill, and full amenities to cook in house if you like.
