The shallow, fish-rich pond offers excellent recreational opportunities, and the surrounding area provides good mushroom and berry picking grounds. An idyllic destination for a family holiday in a cottage too!

The chalet is located only a short driving distance away from Sotkamo city centre and Vuokatti Ski Resort (16km). The chalet has a traditional Finnish sauna by the stream. Guests also have access by boat to a small peninsula with a sand beach by the lake, located on a shore at the other end of the stream.
