What a lovely place! Great outdoor area and gardens. Views from each window. Comfortable bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Pub, fish and chips and small supermarket five minute walk. Great walks down Forge Valley. We had a wonderful stay - thank you

We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Abi was a very friendly, helpful and responsive host who checked in with us upon our arrival and gave us any info we required. Upon arrival we found not only tea, coffee, milk and juice but a lovely chocolate cake to welcome us. The cottage was immaculately clean throughout and the kitchen really well equipped. The surrounding area is so peaceful and the wildlife lovely to see. Also the bed was the most comfortable we have ever stayed in. The local pub is also good for a well priced home cooked meal. Thank you Abi, if we are holidaying up that way again, we would definitely book the cottage again.

The place was lovely, peaceful and just what we wanted. Richard was there to greet us and show us around and also gave us some tips on good places to eat and visit. We didn’t really want for anything as there was a welcome surprise of milk and eggs already in for us with a made up log burner if we needed. Saw Lynn the following day while going out and just like Richard very friendly and asked us if all was ok and if there were any problems which there weren’t. There is also a folder in the property with local restaurants and local pubs plus places of interest to visit. All in all lovely place, lovely people and would recommend to anybody looking to stay.

Great location well situated for Scarborough and Filey. Accommodation good standard well equipped quiet and private. Good pub, shop and fish and chip shop in the village. Hope to book again next year next year.
