Tree house - in the heart of nature

In a forest edge on our farm overlooking vast fields, you can enjoy seclusion surrounded by the branches and foliage of the trees. The simple building stands on a plateau 2-3 meters above the ground between tree trunks. The branches of the trees form a roof over the small patio with a simple outdoor kitchen in front of the tent. You are completely off the grid but have access to a refrigerator and electricity at our farm where you can park, or borrow a cooler for food you bring with you. Private toilet with dry toilet and outdoor shower is 100 meters from the property.

Tiny vintage caravan in great surroundings.

50 years ago, a Sprite 400 caravan, was heaven for escapists, hedonists, and people who needed to 'get out'. Today, you can experience life in a tiny Sprite 400 - placed in gorgeous surroundings. Yes, it's tiny. The double bed is tiny (120 cm X 200 cm). The extra bed is tiny. The sink is tiny. But it will not be a tiny experience. The surrounding landscape is huge and plentiful. Private beach, forest and cliff viewpoint within walking distance. Bring your camera and a positive mindset :-)

Liten hyttevogn med vedovn ved en liten elv/bekk. Naturskjønt beliggenhet. Vogn har solcellepanel til lys og vedovn til oppvarming. Bålplass utenfor. Mulighet også å leie badestamp og tønnebadstue / sauna mot ekstra betaling. I sauna kan du vaske deg med varmt vann. Robåt til gratis lån. Plassen passer fint til dem som liker seg I naturen med enkel standard overnatting. I høst/ vintertid fra ca 15.9 - 1.5 er vogna sammen med eget privat ute-kjøkken. Hund tillatt. Til Bortelid skisenter 15 km.

Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. To live a somewhat simple life for a while, without having to do without any modern conveniences. To let go of everyday worries, put your mobile phone aside and allow yourself to be enchanted by your surroundings. Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, make coffee and cook over an open fire. The bed will be made up when you arrive. A warm welcome!

Høyseth is a hidden gem located in the far end of Stardalen valley at the gateway to Jostadal glacier national park. Rent one of our simple and charming cabins that sleep 2-6 persons, put up your tent or park your caravan in the heart of West-Norwegian nature. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. If you like nature, silence and magical starry skies, you will love our glamping, which is located overlooking the sea. The glamping tent has a double bed and two single beds. And an English wood-burning stove from Salamander Stove. Dogs are welcome. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a gas grill, coffee maker, cooler with USB socket for mobile charging. Linen and towel included. Children up to the age of 12 stay free of charge in the company of an adult.
