A sublime modern and very comfortable house with views and direct access to the lake. Lovely and responsive hosts. I would recommend it without a second thought!

When I saw the reviews, I thought first - can that really be that good? Top marks from all renters… And yes, it could! First, a very nice and helpful host - Alfred, who responded quickly and kindly to any concerns, and set up and came with kayaks on right when we wanted to rent, despite the middle of the Easter weekend. And what a house! Great location, overlooking the lake, beautifully and tastefully decorated, plenty of space and there was everything you needed! Plenty of dishes, cutlery and kitchen utensils as well as good with cleaning equipment. Also felt extra welcome thanks to Alfred's welcome gift - so thoughtful! This is where we would return!

Great weekend with nice weather. We used the delicious fire pit a lot where we could sit overlooking the lake. Despite the season, we stayed here a lot. We went for a walk of about 7.2 km around the lake. a wonderful walk where we passed a lovely beach at the other end of the lake. Here you can swim in the lake if you feel like it. Canoes and rowboats are located so you can just put them in the water and take a trip out on the lake. It just worked out so well. Had a little trouble finding enough life jacket in adult sizes. I think there were the most children's vests. There is a grocery store in the city, so here you can buy small things if you have forgotten something. However, no firewood. A super lovely home located close to the highway and very easy to find. Great surroundings and great activity opportunities. A home that can really be recommended to others who want to enjoy the silence and nature. Ninna Kryger

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

Lovely area, house was perfect!

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommended.

Family of five plus a dog who had a great time at Hidra. The house is beautifully located by the sea, so here you can take the morning bath right from the jetty. Extra stas it was with the lambs in the garden to top the Easter vibe. Highly recommend 😊

Johnny & Chatarina’s house was perfect. It is very spacious and very well equipped with a beautiful lake view from the terrace. Everything was new and clean! The house has a grill outside, a private jacuzzi and even games to play. The surroundings are extremely relaxing with the lake so close by and multiple tracks for walking in the area. The supermarket and the city is approx 8 min drive away. The highlight for us was the use of the Kanu, kayak or rowing boats, allowing us to explore the beautiful lake almost for ourselves or trying out fishing. Overall a perfect stay and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Really a very nice cottage to stay in. The wood-fired sauna is wonderful. The pizza oven and the campfire are nice, even in less weather. In the evening in the jacuzzi gives a rich feeling. The lake is nearby and easily accessible by canoe. Living room with lovely relaxing place and a spacious dining table. We had a lovely time in this cottage.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We had three beautiful days on the small island. Especially the kids enjoyed the stay very much. In the evening we could make fires and enjoy the tranquility. Unfortunately, there were also many mosquitoes, but we were prepared for that. The location is very nice and quiet. The accommodation itself is very simple, but with everything you need. Refrigerator, gas stove, etc. worked perfectly. The outdoor shower also serves its purpose. Communication with Peter was great and very fast. Definitely to be recommended.

We had incredibly beautiful days at Raimo's place. He is a great host - quick to answer any questions and very helpful. The cabin has exceeded all our expectations: it is not only exceptionally clean and cozy, but furnished with a lot of love for detail – a place to feel good. Everything you need is provided and the kitchen is well equipped as well. A real highlight was the view from the terrace - simply breathtaking every day. This tranquility is priceless. In the immediate vicinity you will find everything necessary – supermarkets and some restaurants are easily accessible. It was hard for us to say goodbye, and we very much hope to return to this special place soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Per's small cabin by the sea. Although small, the cabin is very cozy and comfortable and really has everything you need and a priceless view over the water. The boat was a great plus and we enjoyed very much exploring the area. We highly recommend it.

We were in Säynekoski for the second time because we loved the place next visit in the fall. Everything worked great, even though we were the first guests after the winter break. The birdsong surrounds the cottage from morning to night, and the blue rents adored the yard. The hosts had subdued the place with Easter decor, and the cottage's terrace was expanded closer to the beach. The sauna had soft steam, the fireplace was draining well, the gas grill and hot tub went smoothly. The bed and linens were good and the temperature of the cottage was comfortable. This is where we'll come back again!

We had an amazing stay at the Ju-than cabin! The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed for a few relaxing nights. The location is perfect to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you so much for a great stay!

The house was incredible! It was the Christmas time so we even had Christmas tree in the house and decorations. The house had everything we needed. Very clean and decorated very well. It was so cozy and we loved staying there. Madeleine was easy to communicate and even helped us when we couldn’t find the house. :) We would definitely consider coming back here. We really enjoyed it!! Norway is beautiful but especially the cottage the decor the place is really fantastic. We have completely relaxed. We really came here for the peace and nature together with family and that really worked here. And we also got two days of snow this made the fun for the kids complete!! We'd love to come back again.. Sven responded was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Thank you for hospitality. 😇

We had a really nice skiing holiday starting from Sveinung's cabin on the mountain. It took 5 minutes to drive to Haukeli Skisenter, alternatively there was a ski-in/out route we never explored. The cabin was huge and really well-stocked, there was nothing missing, and you could clearly sense that Sveinung's approach to its hosting role is to ensure happy guests. We enjoyed the great space of the house, homey comfort (baby bed, high chairs, TV, DVDs and games/toys). Thank you so much for a lovely holiday!

Absolutely stunning log cabin in a very peaceful location. The hosts were very welcoming and we had everything we needed for the stay. Highly recommend the sauna too. The cabin was very warm despite it being very cold outside. Would definitely recommend!

The cabin had everything you could need. It was very cozy and private. The owner was very kind and helped us with our car problem then offered us help with some other troubles that we had at the time. Its very nice to see and meet people like the cabin owner☺️ Thank you once again!
