Monthly Rentals in Scawton

We had a wonderful few days at Dolittle Cottage! Beautiful and homely with everything you would need! The area is stunning with lots of lovely villages nearby to visit and close to York! Vicky was really helpful with advice and recommendations, would highly recommend a stay here! Thank you!

This is a wonderful find and Jane is a wonderful host. Genuinely spacious place with lovely decoration, spotlessly clean. I appreciated the warm welcome and thoughtful touches that meant we could settle straight in. We had everything we could possibly need, and a very warm welcome. We only stayed for a long weekend (3 nights) but could very happily have stayed for an extended period. Thank you Jane for the care you take, and for sharing your lovely place with visitors.

Lovely stay at Alison's place. Alison met us when we arrived and was very responsive. My husband broke his leg shortly before arrival, meaning our plans for long walks were thwarted! Alison was full of helpful suggestions. The house was compact but peaceful (once we got used to the noisy cows). We had not realised there were no cooking facilities, but that was our mistake.

This idillic cottage is in the perfect location for the Yorkshire Gliding Club (where we were flying from for the week) and exploring the National Park. Easy access, very quiet, fantastic views and great surroundings made for a very enjoyable week.
