Charming cozy cabin with amazing view

Alps Mountains. Italy. Aosta Valley. A cabin in a small village at 1600 meters,in the peace of meadows, grazing cows and mountains. Snow (usually) in the winter. A place of the heart, lovingly restored preserving the ancient beams of the roof. A wonderful view from the large windows and a special tranquility for those in search of peace, warmth and relaxation. The furniture is very nice: wood above all, but also more lively colors, and modern comforts. Quiet excursions, both on snowshoes or ski.

Renovated Walzer house 15 mins by car from Alagna

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

Pra di Brëc is our dream that became true. We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . We have combined these antique materials (and objects) with a modern thought of aesthetics and comfort.

L'alloggio comprende un soggiorno con angolo cottura, una camera da letto matrimoniale, una camera con due letti singoli e un bagno. Nato dalla necessità di rallentare e di immergersi nella Natura, abbiamo cercato di rendere questo luogo caldo e confortevole. Gli elementi sono semplici e ricercati senza fretta. L'affaccio verso valle è mozzafiato. Il paesino montano di Rossa è tutto da scoprire, rilassante e perfettamente custodito dai suoi abitanti. Molti sentieri ben segnati partono dal paese. In 15 minuti d'auto si arriva agli impianti di Mera, in 30 ad Alagna e in 50 ai laghi. Vicini gli approdi per il rafting.

Our apartment Stella is located at the foot of Monte Rosa in the Valsesia, 3 km from Varallo. The Valsesia is a beautiful area where you can fully enjoy nature, sports and culture. Apartment Stella is centrally located on the Sesia River, which offers the opportunity for walks in the nearby mountains, cycling trips, winter sports and water sports (rafting, kayaking, etc.). Lake Orta is 13 km away, which is certainly worth it for a visit.
