Curious about this lovely Seaside town in County Durham? Stay in this light & bright spacious double room , friendly atmosphere and a 'home from home' feel. My home sits in a quiet location close to Seaham Hall (5 minute drive) & just a 20 minute walk to the East coastline where you can visit the WW1 statue of 'Tommy' or have some tasty fish 'n' chips with a view. It is also accessible to Durham, Sunderland or Newcastle City centers by public transport (bus stop 5 mins walk) or motorway.
“This is a lovely house, very clean and stylish and the guest room is great to stay in as it is at the back of the house so quiet. Sarah is a great host, I didn't actually meet her during my stay because of her work and family commitments, but she stayed in contact and I felt looked after. The breakfast was a very nice touch with cereal, toast, and fruit juice and a danish pastry. Value was great and overall I can thoroughly recommend staying here if you are on business (as I was) or having a trip to the Seaham area.”
Our house is perfect for those wanting to live in a semi rural part of Tyne and Wear with a hive of local amenities close-by. With easy access to major road networks and transport links from our home, We are in an ideal location for commuting to or exploring the nearby Cities of Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle which are bursting with culture and attractions. To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland
“Absolutely perfect. We were in the area delivering a course at the local school and this ticked all the boxes. Peter's house is IMMACULATE, stylishly decorated and with lots of nice touches including fruit juice and gin in the fridge and cupboards of essentials. Will definitely stay again.”
We have 2 loft rooms available, 1 double room and 1 single. The double room is a light airy space with an amazing view of the sea and Tommy the WW1 sculpture. Guests share the living room, bathroom and kitchen with ourselves and other guests. Seaham is a up and coming seaside town with a beautiful heritage coastline that is famous with sea glass hunters.
“We loved our stay at Paul and Linda's. The room is conveniently located right in the center of Seaham above the Clean Bean restaurant, where we enjoyed wonderful food with a discount. Paul and Linda were very welcoming and easy to communicate with, and check-in and check-out were straightforward. The room has a wonderful view of the ocean and there was free onstreet parking just outside. Both Paul and Linda were great to recommend things to do locally. We very much felt at home and are happy to recommend Sea Glass Loft to other travellers!”
