This lovely creekside cabin is on one of southwestern Ohio's premier deepwater fishing and boating streams. Private and cozy, this Amish-built retreat is well appointed and well cared for and has a large dock. The hosts are well known for their hospitality. The rate is a flat rate and there are no additional taxes or fees.
“Great little cabin by the creek. We enjoyed lunches on the deck, dinners on the patio, and daily campfires at the creeks edge. Rowboat, pedal boat, and kayaks were available to enjoys casual trips on the creek. From the cabin to the creek/fire ring is a little steep-ish hill, NOTHING terrible at all just something to be aware of if mobility is an issue. Very nice little get away that we hope we can return to soon!”
This beautiful cabin is in the hills of southern Ohio and includes the use of a 4 acre lake and 5 boats. Very private and remote, no neighbor houses can be seen. Great fishing for bass, bluegill, crappie and catfish. Shelter house near lake with 2 picnic tables and fire pit and free firewood. Sleeping for 4 adults kids(or more); two twin beds and one adult bunkbed, plus loft with kids bunkbed. Full kitchen with all utensils, appliances, etc. Also, cornhole and great amish shopping nearby.
“My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful lake and fantastic scenery all around. The local amish community made our stay even more unique. Tim was also very helpful while we were there. Showed us how we should fish since we were new to it and was just overall a great person. A little heads up though, the DVD player does only play in black and white. So I recommend bringing a device that can connect to the TV via HDMI cable that can play movies (laptop, your own DVD player, xbox, playstation, etc.) Plus, there is little to no reception there so be prepared to be guessing where you're going if you need to leave the cabin.”
The cabin is situated on 4 rolling acres with spectacular views of an abundance of wildlife deer, turkey & birds. Located in Adams County, Ohio just 3.5 miles from Keim’s Amish Market, 5.3 miles from Wheat Ridge Amish Community (Miller's Bakery & Furniture), 15 miles from Serpent Mound Historical Site & just one-hour East of Cincinnati. A beautiful, private, quite, spacious place to escape to & get away from it all! Spend some time enjoying life, each other & the splendor of nature.
“This space is perfect for those wanting to just get away. The wooded area surrounding the cabin is peaceful and surrounded by neighbors who are friendly, but also not nosy. We felt at home when we walked in, and the living room and kitchen and bedroom as always were inviting, and cutely arranged slightly differently than last time we stayed. No Wifi no internet. No tv. It was blissful ;) and the surrounding towns (union, Peebles) are wonderfully quaint towns.”
