New Barn is a single storey barn style house in a lovely village only a five minute drive to our stunning beaches. The house is spacious and light. The local pub/restaurant is only a two minute stroll away. The garden is large and up to two well behaved dogs are welcome.
“What an idyllic place! Sarah has thought of everything! All those fiddly bits you aren't sure will be provided, ARE provided. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper....you name it, it's there! The barn is toasty warm and cozy, the beds are super comfy, the place was sparkling clean and the location is ideal. We enjoyed walks on beaches at Holkham and Wells next the Sea (where we saw 3 seals!!) The kids loved the Oasis swimming pool in Huntstanton and the play barn down the road at Norfolk Lavender. A hidden gem of a cafe and farm shop is Thornham Deli - perfect after a walk along the Peddars Way near Holme Dunes nature reserve. We will definitely be back one day. Thank you Sarah!”
Forget-me-not Cottage has been refurbished in February. It is a lovely cottage, very cosy and relaxing. It has all the things you could need for a holiday very close by. We are dog friendly at the cottage and welcome your pooch. The cottage will be cleaned thoroughly before your stay. We have buckets and spades for you to take to the beach to make the perfect sandcastle - you’re never too old to make a sandcastle :-) please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
“This is a lovely cottage with everything you need, in a perfect location. North Norfolk is really special for birdwatchers in winter, so it's great to have a warm cosy cottage to come home to, dogs and all. It's literally seconds away from open fields, pubs and a Michelin starred restaurant, but with everything you need to be fully self-catering. And the beach is only a few minutes down the road.”
One well behaved dog is welcome. (Small additional charge). Brancaster Bakery Cottage is a newly refurbished, self contained, 1-bed flint and chalk cottage adjoining The Old Bakery in the heart of Brancaster village. Guests have off street parking and use of large attractive gardens. It is only 2 minutes walk from The Ship Hotel, which serves lunch and dinner. The spectacular Brancaster Beach with its miles of golden sands is an easy walk along the Marsh Path.
“The Old Bakery is a wonderful place to stay. Really cute little village with the beach just down the road and a great pub (The Ship) even closer. A welcome pack including coffee pods, tea, milk, water and lemon cake was a really nice touch, very much appreciated as we arrived on a very wet and windy afternoon. The property is inviting and cosy yet also stylish. From the Nespresso machine to the Dualit kettle to the GHD hairdryer to the Designers Guild linens, attention has been paid to every detail. The property was exceptionally clean with plenty of fluffy towels provided. Caroline was a great host, excellent communication and absolutely lovely in person. We would definitely stay here again.”
