For those who would rather drive alpine skiing, there is a short drive(7 km) to Gautefall alpine facilities and the ski arena. For those who visit the cabin in the summer, there are many great hiking trails past many waters and swimming areas as well as good fishing opportunities; remember fishing licenses!
