Nostalgic and cozy living room with unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster yard and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was erected on the farm, the remains of the house were set up as a living room until the barn and today appears as an intimate and cozy little house with lots of history and soul. All amenities are of course completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden provides an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

The house is in good condition, suitable for family or friends on a trip! Also suitable for rent at sporting events due to many beds and central location. The Joker store is just across the road. Within walking distance you will also find a pizzeria and pub, roadside inn, hairdresser and Circle K. Nice swimming and hiking opportunities in the summer and great ski slopes in the winter. There is also a children's ski slope with a lift right next to it. Høydalsmo is very centrally located in western Telemark! With Dalen, Åmot, Rauland and Seljord in close proximity.

Centrally located in Valle Municipality. Approx. 1 km to the city center. Facilities in the house: Child-friendly, Wi-Fi, SmartTV with BT soundbar Heat pump, fireplace (wood in the garage) Toilet, shower, dishwasher, Stove, coffee maker, fridge, freezer ++ Cleaning is done by you as the tenant. Must bring towels and bed linen yourself (1.50 double bed and 1.80 double bed). In summer, it is a good idea to bring your own drinking water due to well water. We drink from the fountain the rest of the year. You can boil the water if you are in doubt.

Tonstadbadet is 5 minutes away. Lots of great hiking opportunities in the area. Very special and completed log house in Setesdal style. The house has shoreline towards Otra and spectacular views of Reiårsfossen waterfall which is close by. Make a good dinner in the large kitchen in the house or see if the kids dare to swim in the slightly cold river. Take the car up or down Setesdalen and visit various action attractions or experience the view and silence up the hill. In the evening you can enjoy birds singing and sleep in built-in, rose-painted beds. NB: We usually arrange flexible check-in and check-out!

The house is located in Ryfylke, where nature shows itself from its best side. From the farm, where the house is located, there is a alot to do. Mountain hikes, rivers, sea and fishing. There are also 60 wild sheep living on the farm. A 9-hole disc golf course has been established on the farm. See «Hyllehaugen disk golf» on the app «Udisc». We have disks for rent. Distance to the Pulpit Rock is 1.5 hours. Other recommended trips are "Skomakernibbå", "Røssenibben" or Blåsjø.

Vannet har bitevillig ørret, og fiskerett er selvsagt inkludert i prisen. Det er flere fine badeplasser som kan benyttes.
