Everything was perfect! The location was close to everything we needed. The house was clean and organized. It was so chilly outside, we made some soup in the crockpot. We appreciated the containers to take our extras home! Thank you!

Alex is a great host! Dog friendly places are hard to find and his place made my dog feel super comfortable. Love this place and definitely will be back.

The place was perfect for a peaceful getaway in nature. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus and helped us relax after a full day. The surrounding area was quiet and surrounded by forest, which made it easy to disconnect from the city. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Thank you for the hospitality — we would gladly come back again!

Had a fantastic stay- our focus was hiking at Starved Rock and it was perfect for that. We’re thinking of a summer trip to kayak now as well. The townhouse is very cozy and the dining table was great for playing games with the family. Beds are comfortable and rooms are large. Our kid was excited to use the big jacuzzi tub for bath time. Plenty of counter space to cook together. Recommend bringing foil or plastic wrap as there is none available. Will need to have all ingredients on hand- there are no supplies left from previous guests with things like oil/Pam. Big grocery options are just a short drive away though. For those with electric cars, the Flying J has good level 2 chargers-not as fast as described in listings though. Saw Tesla chargers at the HyVee as well.

Great place, excellent hiking and everything you need for a comfotable stay. Jim was available for questions with quick replies and had great information about the trails and history of the area. This is a special area and you can tell there are people who care deeply about maintinaing it. We will definitely return to this area!

This was our first time renting an Airbnb, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a great home, conveniently located in the Geneva/St Charles area. The home is spacious, with upgrades throughout, beautifully decorated, comfortable and exceptionally clean! The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy an extended stay for our adult family. There is also a finished walk out basement area with a nice gathering or play area for families with small children. The host Stephanie was very responsive and considerate to our unique needs, and check in and check out instructions were simple. The house is everything as listed and described, it was a good home base for us visiting family in the Fox Valley area over the holidays. Highly recommend this house and Stephanie as a host. We would stay here again.

Everything was great! Patrice's home was exactly what we were looking for. Our only regret is that it was December and we were not able to use the wonderful outdoor space. Thank you for opening your home to us!
