This is an old-fashioned inn in the center of Kyoto. The building is a 100-year-old Japanese-Western eclectic style building built in the early Showa era. You can spend time with a somewhat nostalgic feeling, leaving a retro look here and there. The washroom, toilet, and bathroom are shared. The room type (Japanese-style room, Western-style room) and the number of rooms offered vary depending on the number of guests. Gion Shijo Station is a 7-minute walk, or a 2-minute walk from the city bus 203 "Gion" stop. Yasaka Shrine is a 1-minute walk. Kodaiji Temple and Kiyomizu Temple are also within walking distance, making it ideal for visiting tourist attractions around Higashiyama. It is also a convenient location for going out to the downtown area of Shijo.
