Before it became a homestay, it was a small and famous Bake-off site (Baguang Kiln), which still retains the kiln and the high chimney is also a scenic line. Walking to the front are two small wooden doors near the roadside, which are a bit old. Upon entering the door, you will step on the Bake-off floor, which is very precious and only a small area in front of the door is paved. The corridor in front of the store next door and part of the outer wall are also paved with Bake-off tiles. Because the overall structure is wooden, the doors and windows are also made of quaint kraft paper. The moment you walk into the room, you can smell the fragrance of the tatami. Very Japanese style. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

A private rental accommodation limited to one group per day is now open along the coast near Shimonada Station in Iyo City, Ehime Prefecture. The sky and sea spread out before you, as beautiful and blue as you can see.　It creates a calm space based on the color of the plaster. You can overlook the Seto Inland Sea, and on the first floor, you can cook in a stylish kitchen while watching the sunset. On the second floor, you can watch the sunset on the terrace and make things. There is one queen sized bed. There is one Koala sofa bed that can be converted to a queen size bed.　 There is one double bed on the second floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people. Natural yeast bread and Rodan coffee are included for breakfast. The tableware is the work of Tomoya Sasaki, a potter from Ehime Prefecture, and uses Mustakibi and Ryusen kilns. For towels, we use Iori towels from Imabari Towel.　Linen sheets are used. If you need dinner, you can use the adjacent Shioji restaurant, which is for guests only.
