Monthly Rentals in Shirley Meadows

The cabin was great, parking was a little tricky as it was snowing when we arrived but luckily we brought a shovel with us and after we shoveled a bit of the driveway we were able to get up fine. The cabin was lovely and very cozy for our small family gathering. The kids loved the games and we built a snowman and snow pig. We even took a walk around the neighborhood and found the cutest little stream. All in all the place was great for a weekend get away :)

Nancy and David were such friendly, delightful hosts. And their place exceeded expectations. When we walked in the door and saw that amazing view we didn’t want to leave the house. We did end up going on a hike, but really the view in the house was even better. Especially the sunrises and sunsets. (Plus you have the same view from the luxurious bathtub!) Nancy and David provided lots of information about the area. Restaurants and menus, hikes with difficulty ratings, kayaking, rafting and all that outdoorsy stuff you might want to do. In addition, the lace had so many nice touches and Nancy thought of everything that could possibly make your stay more comfortable. And speaking of comfortable, the bed scored A+. Soft linen, cozy blankets, perfect mattress. Slept like a log in the very quiet neighborhood. And there’s a lovely terrace off the bedroom for reading or having lunch. All in all a great stay. We highly recommend Camp David!

This was a great home base for our exploration of Sequoia and Death Valley. We arrived late after a rough travel day and we're delighted by the view in the morning. The home was clean and comfortable and we loved the big tub.
