Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Shōnan

The Mejyu hotel is a fantastic stay near central Tokyo, close to the station and Yamanote line, very easy to get to places like Shinjuku and Shibuya. The house was large and spotlessly clean, with all modern amenities and necessities. Mayasan was super responsive and very clear in instructions. Overall a great stay that we highly recommend and will definitely return to!

I've used AirBnB in a number of countries. My mom also hosts a few AirBnBs at her multi-family unit. I mention this information to suggest I am very familiar with AirBnBs. This apartment is great. We stayed for two weeks (taking a short trip in the middle). Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Close to a 7-Eleven for quick and easy start to the day (or to finish the night). Close to Ueno for Shinkansen/museums/metro. Close to Nezu, too (and Nippori). Host is easy to communicate with. Place is clean. The only thing I would mention is if you are a taller person, just be aware of the ceilings/doorways. I'm a touch over 6ft. Showering will require you to watch your head. Not a negative. Just wanted to mention. Please be respectful if you stay here (and anywhere, honestly). This country deals with a lot of bad tourists. Don't be one of them.

The property has all facilities as listed. this is very close to Asakusa station, Sensoji temple, Sumieda river, Asakusa Skytre. there is a 24 hour laundromat in 2 mins walk and wonderful eating places. and great access to travel everywhere. absolutely recommend to whomever is traveling to Tokyo

We stayed at this Airbnb, and it was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transportation. The host was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions and local recommendations that added to our experience. We highly recommend this Airbnb for families visiting Tokyo and would gladly return in the future!

Great place to stay. It is close to the subway station, restaurants and stores around for food and shopping.

It was great to stay! They provide the water server, so that we could get cold and hot water always 😚 We could use the delivery box (takuhai box), this was really exceptionally helpful !

The space was clean and I was satisfied with the price.The breakfast at the cafe on the 1st floor was very delicious!

Seiji's place was exactly as pictured and described - so no one should be surprised that it is a compact space. It was perfect for me, had everything I needed, and was extremely cozy and comfortable. Plus, the view from the window is beautiful and you can see the sunrise. Everything was clean and had very clear instructions. Seiji was very communicative and responsive. I would stay here again.

Spotless, functional, comfortable with lots of space and amenities. We stayed in a fair few Airbnbs in Japan and Maiko’s place remains top on our list. The host was easily contactable and kindly accommodated our request for a late check out as our next accomodation only opened at 5pm. Thanks again for everything Maiko, we will be back!

I received a quick response to my messages, so I didn't have any trouble. There was a table tennis table and projector at the inn, so the children didn't get bored even in the rain! There were 5 adults, 4 elementary school students, and 1 preschooler, but it was spacious enough. I will make a reservation when I go to Yugawara again! Thank you very much.

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to our family and friends. Zen’s house was very clean and perfect for our 2 girls age 4 and 2 years old. They loved all the toys and plush animals to play with, also being able to connect to Disney plus was very helpful. The closed doors to the stairwells also made it very child friendly so our children could not go up or down the stairs by themselves. Zen also provided a baby crib that was perfect for our toddler as well. The walk to the subway was very convenient, and a family mart across the street made late night shopping needs easy. We hope to stay again in the future.

Sakura was responded to questions super fast. The house was clean, right near 711, and near a huge department shop and restaurants. 5 minute walk to the train station and felt like you are a Japanese National walking the streets! Beautiful neighborhood.

This place was an absolutely wonderful stay. Kaori was very responsive and welcomed us with a bag of pastries. The place was very spacious and very clean. The location is also phenomenal as the island has been a highlight of our trip around Japan so far. Amazing for the price. I would give 6 stars if I could.

The building feels old, first of all, it feels clean and well equipped, so I don't feel any inconvenience. Chickens and dogs are friendly and funny if you are an animal lover

Ka was a wonderful host and her home was beautiful. Ka went out of her way to do the small things like send us recommendations, weather updates and even gift small presents for the kids. Overall, our party had an amazing experience.

It was on a quiet hill and had a great view!We were able to enjoy the sunrise in the morning, the beautiful sea during the day, and the Atami fireworks at night.The bath was very good because it was a hot spring.I was able to cook a lot in the kitchen, which is easy to cook in!

Nice walkable place with a lot of convenience store, drug store and restaurants nearby. Easy access from Ikebukuro station, a round 8-10mins walk. The only downside is the unit is at third floor, a bit hard for big luggages, but still acceptable. Overall, Worth the price!

This was a gorgeous stay. We loved being so close to the fun of Shibuya, but in a peaceful neighborhood that was an easy walk (I was in a crutch, so super easy). The apartment was large, comfortable, and that tub was perfect for recovery from all the walking. I especially loved the rooftop balcony for morning coffee, mid day green tea and evening shochu. Host was very responsive and friendly. We really appreciated our stay and it was a great home base for our Tokyo part of the Japan trip.

エイホウさん was an amazing host. Very warm, friendly and positive attitude, always responsive. I loved my 7-day-stay at this apartment and it was mainly because of エイホウさんpresence. The price is right, the location was very quiet and close enough to 2 subway/train stations which made it easy to go anywhere. Thank you エイホウさん for everything!!

We stayed with Yoko for the second time and again very satisfied. The apartment is incredibly large and everything you need was there. The beds are very cozy and Yoko took good care of us, she even cooked something extra for us. We will definitely be happy to come back!

I liked that the place was so quiet. Still, it was convenient because it was a tourist destination just a 10-minute walk away!

It's a beautiful place. I wish the host was a little bit more flexible with the early check ins and late check outs, but I understand it's something that cannot always be available. Other than that, amazing place.
