Cottage holiday rentals in Sibiu

Beautiful garden with pool which was super fun for the kids. The house was charmingly rustic. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable and peaceful. The hosts were friendly, responsive and gave local recommendations.

Great house, very friendly for families with children who like rural area and authentic houses. The host was communicative, very nice and big garden with a camp fire place where the kids enjoyed making afire and cooking potatoes.

If you want to go to Sibiu, do not stay in the town, book in Porumbacu de Sus at Tibi’s place: quiet, idyllic in the garden, geill your own food, eat outside, pick some apples …. . They have breakfast and they prepare dinner if reserved in advance. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

We had a very pleasant experience in the location and the host was very flexible and helpful. We were impressed by the conditions, the cleanliness, the amenities and the existing facilities in the location. We recommend anyone to book a stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Cristina's place. The house and garden were lovely and the rooms were much bigger than the photos looked. It had everything we needed and we all agreed we could quite happily live in that house. The place was well equipped and we loved the record player and collection of LP's some of which I would guess to be 60+ years old.

We felt very comfortable in the place. Werner was available to us at all times. The manager Sorin and his wife Adriana are very friendly people. Despite the language barrier, we got along well. Adriana cooked us a great meal once and the food from the village was very delicious. Even in winter, the area was very accessible by car. There's a lot to see. Especially at Christmas, the Christmas markets and the great lighting were everywhere. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The neighbors were all very friendly and we had a great start to the new year in the village square. In the Paltines ski resort (Hohe Rinne) you can ski well and rent everything. We had a great time and would come back any time. Thank you

Ten wonderful days in Cund! After thirty years back in Siebenbürgen. A lot of things have changed, but a lot is still the same. Nature, life like in past times. We enjoyed the garden, which is specially laid out for the guests, harvested johannis berries, herbs and tomatoes and cooked some of them. We saw a lot of church castles. It's a shame that hiking is hardly possible anymore because of the many shepherd dogs. We felt very comfortable in this beautiful house restored with a sense of detail, with real Transbürgian village life, where the horse wagons drive in front of the window and the roosters crow and the dogs bark very comfortable! A perfect cottage at the foot of the Fagaras mountains, right next to a very nice mountain stream. Very quiet and peaceful, yet close to Sibiu and the many great places of the region. Communication with Tibi was quick, uncomplicated and very nice - we'll surely come back!
