Peltola Mummola, a farmhouse in the side village of Kalajoki

Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the courtyard of the farm in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation has been renovated to modern standards in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-time granny. Our property is located in a quiet side village of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. Our yard is home to rabbits, chickens, cats, dogs, horses and ponies. A trampoline, a pedal car and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill.

The beach cottage is located 2 km from the main road, on the border of Pihtipudas and Viitasaari. Sauna, swim and relax, even along the way, or stay longer! You can stay in the cottage on the loft and in the cabin. Air heat pump and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna. Tap water is potable. Clean outdoor toilet in the outbuilding, where a new ecological and hygienic burning toilet seat will be installed in spring 2026. You will have access to a gas grill and a rowboat. A two-room apartment at the end of a quiet road. Rural peace in the middle of the village. We live in the same house, so we'll probably be there when you arrive. Although we live in the same house, the apartment still has its own entrance and its own peace of mind. There is an outdoor sauna in the yard that can be used.
