Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sigiriya

We had a great stay here for one night. A great little tree house in the jungle. Amazing hosts, 2 lovely dogs and some great food cooked for us. There's a great place nearby too watch the sunset while overlooking Sigiriya and other mountains in the distance. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at this unique Airbnb! The location is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and nature. We were particularly impressed by the excellent cuisine – each dish was a real highlight. The pool area invites you to relax, and you can watch the surrounding wildlife, which is a very special experience. The house is open and very secluded, which has determined the charm of the place for us. However, this could be unusual for some guests. But if you're looking for a combination of relaxation, nature and excellent food, this is the place to be! We will be happy to come back.

it’s hard to sum up our stay with channa in a succinct way because it was unlike anywhere else we’ve ever stayed. the treehouse was extraordinary and the experience that channa and his wife a have built around making the stay as unique and comfortable and attentive as possible was incredible. firstly, channa is an exceptionally kind human who took great care of our family. he took our boys fishing on the lake and drove us to sigiriya for a day trip. his wife usha, is the most phenomenal chef who cooked delicious and abundant sri lankan meals for us each day which channa fetched from across the lake on his boat. we watched extraordinary electrical storms around us, and stunning wildlife coming and going. it was half pure adventure and half utter relaxation. our kids think it’s the coolest place they’ve ever stayed and i’m inclined to agree. could not recommend the treehouse more highly.

The mango resort was a truly friendly environment clean, peaceful & just a short walking distance to the main road. I really liked this place, especially because the owner was incredibly helpful & cooperative. I stayed two days because of how responsible & caring they were. I really hope to visit this place & I definitely suggest others to go there without any hesitation. I'm very thankful for the overall cooperation & warm, friendly behavior.

Paul's place was perfect. Very quiet and serene. We were two families with four kids in tow and this space was perfect for them to explore. The pool looked inviting but we never managed to get in! Wouldn't hesitate booking this place again.

Our stay at Bandara’s place was a truly remarkable one. The place was designed by the host himself and has a local feel to it. The host is wonderful and responsive. The breakfast we ordered was also healthy and fresh. Bandara’s wife offered us fresh watermelon juice after a long day and it was a great touch. Bandara and his family were always one floor away and were very helpful and responsive. Bandara sent us a van for pickup from the airport at a convenient price and greeted us with tea. He offered to drop and pick us up to surrounding places. The host also arranged for a jeep to pick us up for a safari at a very reasonable price. Bandara also spoke to us about his personal experiences and told us some stories about himself and provided us with excellent local tips. We enjoyed our stay at Bandara’s place and would recommend Iduwara Guest to anyone. Looking forward to visiting again!

The room was clean and perfect for a three night stay. We enjoyed our breakfast as well as dinners. They were delicious, the host is a great cook. He also showed us his cooking secrets in a cooking class and he helped us with every transfer we needed. He also gave us great tips. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who enjoyes a quiet place and loves a good food.

We loved our stay here. We are backpacking around Sri Lanka and wanted to try something different than hostels and this was perfect. Such an experience! Animal sounds to listen to at night. So many beautiful fireflies at night. Hashan was a good host. Good at communicating and helping where help was needed. Thank you for this experience!
