There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" hygge with large canvas, a game of table football or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bedrooms are spacious with plenty of closet space. The house has a heat pump. There is also a large terrace that provides shelter and sun all day. The cabin is located in Søhøjlandet, which invites for hiking, fishing and nature experiences and only a few km to Knudsø with good bathing facilities. There are also several good golf courses and bike and -MTB routes in the area. From the cabin it is 17 km to Silkeborg, 34 km to Aarhus, 6 km to Ry and 15 km to Himmelbjerget.

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

Lovely apartment in a rural setting, located in the high seas, between Aarhus and Silkeborg. From the apartment you can see a fantastic view to the south and west. There is the possibility to use our fireplace, firewood is included. There is a private terrace with morning sun. We have a large herbal garden , so during the season there is the opportunity to get fresh vegetables. On the farm there are horses, cows, chickens and turkeys.
