The Labrador's Corner

El Rincón del Labrador II is located in the town of Santa Espina, in a valley of Montes Torozos, and 40 km from Valladolid. The house is a few meters from the majestic and well-preserved Monastery of the Holy Thorn. The accommodation is a nice covered ground floor (somewhat attic) that has 2 double bedrooms (one with a double bed of 1.50 cm and the other with two beds of 1.05 cm.), they are rustic in style and with nice and different decoration. They have wooden floors and a bathroom with a shower and double sink. Each room also has a TV. The heating can be adjusted to the desired temperature. The house has a living/dining room with a kitchen, where you can prepare your breakfast or meals and enjoy them in front of a fireplace in front of a sofa with a coffee table in the living room. If you prefer to enjoy your stay and not cook, next door you can find our bar-restaurant El Rincón del Labrador dedicated to traditional and homemade cuisine using local products. Don't miss it! Our area and surroundings are ideal for hiking, since we are in a valley in the middle of the mountain, where you can relax and enjoy the fauna and nature of the area. There are different alternative routes that will be indicated at the tourist office. In addition, the village gives you the option to rent bicycles to do them if you wish. We recommend the route to the Pantano, easy and comfortable to do by foot, bike or even by car, although we recommend enjoying the surroundings while taking care of the environment of Nature itself. In addition to the obligatory visit to the Monastery, you can enjoy the Butterfly exhibition that is in the Monastery itself, La Casa de la Naturaleza a few meters away, and towns in the region with importance such as Medina de Rioseco (with its Holy Week declared as an International tourist interest, Urueña with the Villa del Libro, Villagarcía (La Colegiata), route of the castles such as Torrelobatón..., San Cebrián de Mazote (its pre-Romanesque church). All this just a few kilometers from La Santa Espina We are very well connected since the A6 highway, which connects Madrid with A Coruña, is only 12 km away and Villanubla airport is 25 minutes away.

La Casa del Campillo is the house of my paternal great-grandparents. It is a century-old house now restored respecting its essence as a simple house, of shepherds and working people. A "curious" house for its location and views, open to everyone, which is rented in full.
