Saimaa and Ukonniemi-Rauha sports areas with spas and several golf courses nearby. The main building of the Harjula estate is in the middle of apple trees, in the courtyard of the grain farm. The property has been in the family's possession since 1950, after the end of the grandfather's evacuation trip here. In the lush and spacious courtyard, there is also another residential building where the host lives.

Cottage in Pitkäjärvi, Parikkala

The cottage is located near the border zone in Parikkala's Kolmikanta, on the shore of the beautiful Pitkäjärvi. The distance to the centre of Parikkala is about 10 km. The cottage has a kitchenette, a sleeping alcove with a double bed, and a single bed on the side of the living room. There is a wood-fired sauna in connection with the cottage. A small inexpensive place to stay where you sleep in a cool room. Located on the ground floor of a stone house with a window overlooking the yard. There is a film on the window that prevents the yard from being seen in. A small hallway with access to the TOILET. The toilet has a bidet shower, a floor drain, and a shower curtain. NO ACTUAL BATHROOM . Bathrobes and beach shoes are provided for guests. There are stairs to the beach from the side of the house. There is also an indoor swimming pool next door. A 160 cm wide sofa bed in the room for sleeping.

You can row, sauna, and grill. The building has solar power where you can charge your phone and get light in the evening. Berries and mushrooms can be collected from your own forest.

Putkola Cottage Finland

Find your peace in a classic Finnish cottage with a sauna in the immediate vicinity of Lake Kivenkänä in South Karelia. The cottage is electrified, service water must be carried from the lake, guests must bring their own drinking water. Dry toilet. Not far from the cottage is the Kyläkuppila Käpälämäki bar, where in addition to the classic offer of drinks and meals, you can also buy basic groceries, various consumer goods, and fishing permits. Various cultural evenings are often held here.

Experience the traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. There is a rowing boat for guests to use.

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.
