Tiny house holiday rentals in Sintra

At the risk of not being very original given the different reviews left before, Filipe and Isabel's hospitality were really perfect! Their kind dog Nova is adorable too. The apartment is very well located a 5-minute walk from the train station, which allowed us to get to Lisbon, sometimes Cascais but also 10 minutes from the beach. We really recommend this rental ideal for a couple and a child. Also, all amenities are as advertised.

The property was beautifully decorated and the host was very kind. Checkin was flexible and there were lots of local supermarkets!

I stayed for a month getting to know the area with a view to settling in the vicinity & this was the perfect base - wonderful, knowledgable hosts, quiet environment & peaceful countryside with only a 12 min drive into the centre of Cascais and a 15 min traffic free walk to Guincho beach. I’d recommend having a car as the village has limited amenities, but everything you need is a short drive away & the train from Cascais will take you into central Lisbon in no time. I can’t recommend My Friends House highly enough.

A beautiful beach house directly on the sea, which is very lovingly furnished with many details. A small beach paradise equipped with everything e.g. surfboards, sandal stuff, coffee, shampoo, spices ...The surf lessons, sunsets right in front of the terrace, beach bars, countless shells, falling asleep overlooking the sea and the sound of the sea... Thank you for this unforgettable time, for the friendly communication and the special souvenir☀️

A beautiful beach house. Exactly as described, although bigger and better equipped in reality than it looks online. The perfect location to tune out and relax for a a week of downtime.

We had a great time. Elio took very good care of us and gave us some great tips for activities and restaurants. The accomodation is lovely. We liked being in a more quiet place. We had a car and the distance to Ericeira was only about 15 minutes. Everything was lovely, thank you.

Everything about our stay was great. We had a friendly welcome with great recommendations. We even loved enough to stay again. The location, host, atmosphere were amazing. I can’t say enough about our host. He went above and beyond for us. It was a home away from home. Our experience was such that we even asked for info on relocation. We will definitely be back. Perfect stay for my husband and I.

Such a nice little place right in the middle of Santo Isidoro and right around the corner from the best chicken spot in Lisbon! The place was clean and definitely great for a single person or a couple Rosa was always available and check in was a breeze.

I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and hassle-free stay.

Excellent host and great place to stay. It is a quiet oasis in the middle of Cascais. Upon entering the private courtyard, the sweet smell of Japanese cheesewood (yes, I had to Google the plant!) reminds me of walking in honeysuckle. Talking to Barbara and her daughter Victoria was always pleasant and informative.

Spent the weekend here for the birthday of my boyfriend and it was amazing, the beaches are great and the scenerie, too. Amazing to spend a weekend in the green :)

We had a fantastic time at Ricardo's place! Will definitely return soon. We don't have a car, so we used Uber to get around (sometimes wait time is 10+ min but there are cars around). There are two hiking tracks by the house and you can use them to get to the beach (35-40 mins) and nearby settlement Magoito. Walking by the road is too loud and uncomfortable since there is no pedestrian side, but still doable in case you can't get an uber. The place is very comfy, has an AC which is useful because it is often humid, a fully equipped kitchen (including teas, spices, dressings, and oils which is very cool). The bed is comfy and the area near the house is beautiful and quiet. There is a bit of car noise coming from the road, but it is not loud or distracting. Thank you Ricardo!

Cozy and very comfortable place, with the essentials for a stay in teleworking or rest. The fireplace and the view of nature give a special charm. Nuno leaves guests at ease, with automatic check-in and out, with total privacy. Next to services and access, with parking in the space. I recommend it!

Lovely house, with big yard, great for 🐶! Enjoyed the fireplace. Recommend a nice walk down to the sea.
