Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The house is bright and lovely, containing 2 bedrooms with 4 beds, which can both be moved together to double beds or divided into 6 beds. In addition, dining room, living room and kitchen with dishwasher, hallway, and bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine. Both from the dining room and the living room there is direct access to the garden and a large terrace where half is covered. In the garden there is an annex with a double bed.
