Waterfront holiday rentals in Skanderborg

I booked this place for my 3 boys for Christmas. Irma was friendly and quick to respond, and it was easy to get the key from her boyfriend in the same building. The apartment was clean and tidy and everything worked as it should. It's probably best for two people - not three. But for me who wanted to be close to my family in the city, it was a perfect solution.

Anita's place was a perfect fit for our needs. We were 5 girls on a friends trip, so we enjoyed that (as one of the few places) there was the possibility of 6 single beds in one and the same apartment. The apartment is brilliantly located on the Island - with a facade facing the sea and the boardwalk. Ie no car noise at all, but in return the most beautiful view of the sea that you could enjoy from the balcony along with the lovely spring sun. In fact, we felt like we got the best of both worlds, since the apartment is quiet, but at the same time quite central. The apartment is located in the middle of a cool and sought-after neighborhood with the possibility of winter bathing, waterskiing and with lots of restaurants, cafes and shopping opportunities just around the corner, but at the same time the apartment is actually only about a 10-minute walk from the city center with the Latin Quarter, Aros and many other sights. Nice apartment with absolutely stunning views!! Great for early check-in and parking - it releases time for more experiences. Welcoming and quick communication. We are happy to come again and definitely recommend a stay to other visitors.

This is my second time using this apartment for a stay in Vejle. The apartment is large, bright, clean and contains just what is needed. There are two balconies, so it's also possible to get out a little. One balcony overlooks sunrise as well as fjords and the other balcony overlooks the city and full afternoon sun. It was very windy during our stay, but luckily the "afternoon" balcony was on the reading side of the building, so we could easily sit out and enjoy the sun, even if we are only in the month of March. The apartment itself is in a super good location: It is about 2 minutes on foot to the nearest restaurant, 10 minutes on foot to Føtex and with a good 15 minute walk you end up on the pedestrian street. I highly recommend this apartment and will be happy to come again.

This host was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. There was friendly and responsive communication. The apartment was easy to find and was spotlessly clean and close to the sailing centre which the reason for our visit. There was a nice bakery, a few restaurants and a supermarket close by. The walk into town was a reasonable walk but there is a bus stop close by, that takes you straight in. The apartment itself is very cosy and perfect for 2 people. We could easily cook meals and wash clothes. It had everything we needed and we felt very safe and secure. The balconies were lovely and the view is really nice. The neighborhood is very modern and the architecture is fabulous. We had a great 2 week stay here! Thank you!

I just needed the apartment for an overnight stay, but if you had to vacation there, it was very nice for that. There was a good made bed and towels, as well as soaps in the bathroom. There is probably also one of the best views you can get in Viborg and a good walk from the city center. Should I stay in Viborg again, I will check if Birgit's apartment is available.

Beautiful apartment, plenty of space for myself and family. Beautiful views over the lake, close to shops. Well equipped. Would love to return, when we next visit our family in Skanderborg. Highly recommended

We were in the apartment with our five year old son. We were all three completely happy. The apartment, the view and the location were perfect for us. We slept great and the amenities gave everything you could want. We will be happy to come back.

The summer house is just like in the photos. It is a beautiful house, tastefully decorated. Everything very new and in great condition and very well equipped. In particular, the equipment of the kitchen was a great surprise for us, because we like to eat and cook and we could really let off steam here! We stayed here in the fall and it was perfect because the sun was shining and we were able to totally enjoy the tranquility of the place to rest. The view of the sea is wonderful, you can take long walks, either on the beach or right around the corner there is a beautiful hiking trail in the forest. We enjoyed our time in Thomas' house very much, and found it very unfortunate not to have stayed longer.

The house was very well equipped and well functioning, very clean upon arrival, good location - all in all a lovely stay!

Pia was an extremely nice and warm host (who offered us the day of departure, but just to stay for the rest of the day). The days with her were super relaxed and cozy, so right on the beach. It's already special to enjoy the view over the bay from the dining table in any weather... For us - with three adults and children - there was definitely enough space in Pia's Sommerhus... even to retreat in Anneks and do the few work handles that were still necessary despite the vacation. (It certainly makes sense to think about in advance, if you are staying in the passage room to the toilet, so to speak, and who does it in a way out of the way in Anneks, but who looks much less out of the way than expected due to the complex of the property.) We will be happy to come back... and now also know how to move the sliding door between the living room and the bedroom without waking everyone up again. 😉

We had a lovely stay in the house. There was everything you could want. It's a lovely bright house with a great view of the lake. We'd love to come again.

We had a wonderful family stay! The house is beautifully decorated in a modern style and very comfortable for everyone. The view of the beach is stunning—we were lucky to catch the sunrise! The kids loved the board games and had lots of fun. The host was very responsible and helpful throughout our stay. We were all very satisfied and would definitely love to come back. 🥰🥰

The vacation home exactly matches the pictures. It is a short walk to the beach and the cottage was very clean upon our arrival. The kitchen had everything your heart desires - even large bowls for salads for grilling! Value was right.

We loved our time at Jespers house. It is located in an area with holiday homes right on the beach and it was perfect to have a quiet few days in Denmark. The communication with Jesper was really easy, he is very friendly and easy to reach. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. And since it was still cold outside, it was great to have a sauna! We can definetly recommend this AirBnB and would love go come again! ☺️

Nice place and comfortable apartment.

We will be back! Upon entering the apartment, we felt at home. The window front to the sea is simply wow, the furnishings are comfortable, not overloaded with the apartment, but also not cool. The TVs weren't even on - but there are two. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom functional. The beds are very comfortable and the reserved parking space as well as the elevator are great. The terrace is great and has numerous seating - for us it was still too cold for a bath in the sea - but with morning coffee and evening glass of wine on the terrace we could watch some people at the "cold"bathroom. You can see a lot - the terrace borders directly on the promenade: walkers, cyclists, joggers, many dogs - we really enjoyed the hustle and bustle. There are numerous walking restaurants, the market hall, a grocery store, cafes and in 20 minutes you are in the middle of Aarhus City Center. In short: We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this place! The apartment was very clean, cozy and exactly as described. In particular, the view of the fjord was breathtaking and made our stay memorable. Also the location was perfect – quiet yet easily accessible. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made check-in very easy. We felt immediately welcome and would come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic nice apartment. Exactly like the pictures. Beautiful location with ocean views on pretty much all sides. We saw both sunrise and descent over Aarhus Island. Great apartment for a family of 4 like us. Shopping, restaurants, and cool vibes at Bassin 7 just below the front door. If you are not by car, bus 3a runs every 10 minutes to the city center. What's not to like?
