Monthly Rentals in Skelmanthorpe

I booked a weekend stay here for my partner’s birthday. Sally was always quick to respond to my requests and even put up birthday banners and helped with a surprise. We found the cottage to be so cosy and when the weather was nice we enjoyed the views. It’s well situated and only a short drive from YSP and Wakefield. We couldn’t fault any part of our stay. The two ducks added their own character as well. The cottage has everything you need including a washer/dryer and dish washer. The bedroom is spacious with a comfy bed. We’ll definitely be back.

We felt so welcomed at this home. The hosts were very generous in the welcome goodies they left us and in the time taken to chat to us, give recommendations and lay the fires on our first day. We had an excellent meal at the recommended Spencer Arms, about 5 minutes drive away and enjoyed visiting the Sculpture Park and had a day in Bradford where there are some fantastic free museums. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

Wonderful place, immaculately clean. Easy to find and lovely location. Very safe as a solo female staying there. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage in Lepton, Liz was a fantastic host who met us on arrival even though we were late due to traffic, there is a private drive with an electric gate so you can park outside the cottage door so easy access with an elderly person. The cottage is so cute with a warm and friendly feel, light and airy, comfortable furniture in a spacious lounge, a very well equipped kitchen, fantastic wet room / bathroom and a small but comfortable bedroom perfect for 2 people! It is also in a lovely peaceful location we will be back!
