A 15-minute drive to Kristiansand city centre, the golf club, Dyreparken (animal park), the shopping centre (Sørlandssenteret), Aquarama (Badeland water park), and it is about 1.5 km from the sea (Justvik marina). The cabin is located in a peaceful area close to Hemningsvannet. Nice swimming and fishing water 3 min to walk down to the water. A small sandy beach, benches and a barbecue area. Fantastic hiking areas with marked trails. Nearest grocery store is about 1 km from the cabin (open until 23:00 man - Saturday).

Both prepared walkways and paths around the island. There is also an accessible coastal path around parts of the island. 1 minute walk to the swimming area with beach, Svaberg and good fishing opportunities.

No running water, but enough drinking water and washing water is provided. Toilet in separate building wall-to-wall with the cabin which is located on a sheep pasture with no neighbors nearby. Free parking about 50 meters away. Great hiking terrain/nearby trips! Tømmerrenna is just nearby and should be experienced (google it). The same applies to the Setesdalsbanen
