Safe place to leave a truck piled high with expensive tools. Convenient location without having to drive to Timbuktu. Proactively helpful boss lady that found a place for us nearby when ABB mis-promised availability. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to offset whatever chronically grumpy karen is responsible for this place having 4.9 stars.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The space was very clean, roomy, and in a great location—just a short walk to SeaQuake, which ended up being one of my favorite restaurant spots nearby. The harbor tone was a little hard to drown out at first, but Rick was super thoughtful and came down right away with earplugs, which helped a lot. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place with a responsive and considerate host. Would definitely recommend!

Thoughtful amenities, clever use of space, comfortable bed, and a front to back “craftsman modern” design that stands out from other area rentals. We’ll be back.

My wife and I stayed here for our 24th anniversary. We were looking for somewhere peaceful, relaxing and close to the redwoods. Well…this is the place. We absolutely loved the cabin and it’s very close to so many hiking trails in the redwoods. We will definitely be back to stay in at Fern Hook Cabins. A+
