A beautiful, quirky cottage that was ideally suited. Very close to Newmillerdam and its restaurants and pubs. More suited to shorter guests below 5 foot 8 as the door frames, mirrors and shower are all pretty low. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

I had a great stay at Karen and Jay's. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day at work, very quiet and peaceful. I would stay again and definitely recommend it! My only issues were the access road the SatNav directs you down to the property is not suitable for cars and I bottomed out a bit before reversing. This is stated in the listing, but both accesses are from the "High Street" so difficult to know when you've not been before. (Note: Take the flat access road nearer the junction at the bottom of the road (not the access that goes down hill)). Also, the shower was a Mira Electric and was either scolding hot or freezing cold on normal setting or luke warm on eco setting, which is the way you can use it [on eco]. This for me was frustrating as I love a nice shower after work. Other than that, the place was brilliant, all self contained, very neat and tidy and in a peaceful location. Thanks a lot!
