Private Basement Apartment in Maplewood

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located 1-bedroom apartment. It is less than a mile to the NJ Transit train station with direct service to NYC, Newark or Hoboken. Restaurants and shops are within walking or quick driving distance. It is a 10 minute drive to Seton Hall University, a 15 minute drive to Newark International Airport, and a 20 minute drive to NJIT and Rutgers Newark. The Garden State Parkway and Rte 78 are are less than 10 minutes from your door.

South Orange Family Home

Located in Academy Heights, South Orange, our home is great for a smaller group—very comfortable for a family of four—to spend time together, complete with a lovingly renovated kitchen to cook and enjoy meals together. The area is walkable, culturally rich and diverse, and very friendly. Centrally-located, the home is walking distance to parks, restaurants, grocery, CVS, and downtown Maplewood and South Orange (SOMA). Just 30-35 min direct train/car ride to NYC; and 45 minutes to Jersey Shore.

Enjoy easy access to NYC and Seton Hall from this perfectly located studio with a private entrance, kitchenette, shower, laundry, and off-street parking. Ten minute walk to the train to NYC/Hoboken and downtown South Orange and two blocks to the supermarket, Italian restaurant and wine/beer/liquor store. Please note that this is a lower level suite, you’ll need to descend 8 steps to access the space. Additionally, we reside upstairs with our 6 year old so there may be occasional noise.

Classic home built in 1931 and lovingly renovated in 2023. Beautiful, original details throughout but thoughtfully renovated to be modern and comfortable including central air conditioning and heat. Fully new kitchen and baths with high-end fixtures and finishes. Quiet, residential street in walking distance to parks, restaurants, and stores. Easy access to New York City via train to Penn Station and 15 min drive to Newark Airport.
