Here's your chance to get to an old country house cabin to spend the summer and heat up a separate wood-burning sauna. The house is surrounded by fields and forests. You have access to a kitchen with dishes for four, an electric refrigerator and a gas stove, bed linen (your own linen or rented for 10€/person). Electricity comes to the cottage with a solar panel. If you want, you can feed the cows in the traditional pasture. 7 km to the center of Rantasalmi, where you will find the nearest grocery stores. You can drive your own car to the cottage yard.

Villa Iltarusko

A lovely 66-square-meter log cabin, which has retained the atmosphere of a cabin, although there is electricity and water. The cottage has a large atmospheric fireplace. There are plenty of board games for rainy days. In summer, the best things to do are swimming, rowing, skimming the lake, and watching the sunsets... In winter, you can access snowmobile trails, ski on ice, snowshoe, and you can find sleds, slides, etc. You can also see the northern lights at the cabin. The northern lights are most visible in early autumn and spring.

Peaceful and truly unique place to relax and enjoy Finnish nature. This house has been entirely renovated by two local designers and is decorated with subtle French and Finnish influences. You'll enjoy the beautiful views, direct lake access (one of Finland's purest), and on-site activities (jacuzzi, sauna, canoe, biking, relaxing by the beach). For travellers who must work, the place should have everything you need (incl. fast wifi). Pets may be allowed for a small fee, just ask before booking.

Private or rental car necessary (in winter 4-wheel drive is recommended). 4 bedrooms, three with 160 cm double beds, one with a single bed. Sofa bed in the living room. Max. 2 small dogs allowed. Rowing boat and canoe. The guests can rent bed linen and towels for 16 € per person. No smoking.

Cozy 37 sq m studio-apartmetnt (400 sq ft) with sauna in a quiet place in the center of Savonlinna. Excellent location to explore the city on foot or bike. The studio is very comfortable for two, but can accommodate two more on the retractable sofa. Additional mattress is available, which makes sofa bed comfortable too.
